Dr. Srijana P. BAKSHI, MD

As a physician specializing in treating patients with Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, and a wide range of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, Dr. Srijana P. Bakshi is a rheumatologist who strives to make a positive impact. When patients are under her care, they are aware of her honest concern for their well-being. Dr. Bakshi is a dedicated rheumatologist who is up-to-date on the latest medical research, clinical methods, and treatment options. She uses evidence-based medicine to diagnose and treat her patients. 

Dr. Bakshi received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Pokhara, Nepal, followed by an internship at the National Academy of Medical Sciences in Kathmandu, Nepal. She also completed the Intern for Public Health program at Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Pokhara, Nepal. She completed clinical field work in India and Nepal, and she also has experience teaching medical students in China.

She completed her Internal Medicine Residency Training at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania and her Rheumatology Fellowship Training at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. She is ABIM Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

Dr. Bakshi sees patients with a variety of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases such as Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Polymyositis, Gout, Vasculitis, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, and many other conditions. 

Dr. Delfin Santos, MD

Dr. Santos earned his medical degree from Universidad Pontificio Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park Illinois, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Santos completed his Fellowship in Rheumatology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He served as Chief of the Department of Medicine and as Vice Chief of Staff at Ascension Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester Hills Mi. Dr. Santos is a consultant in rheumatology at Beaumont Hospital and at Ascension Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Michigan. is on the teaching staff of the Wayne State University Internal Medicine, Family Practice and Transitional Residency Programs. He has been the rheumatology consultant for the Michigan Department of Corrections. Dr. Santos has published several articles, has written a chapter in a textbook and has presented at various national meetings. He has been on the Advisory Board for the American Behcet’s Disease Association for the last 25 years. He is a consultant and on the Speaker’s Bureau for various pharmaceutical companies. He is repeatedly named TOP DOC in rheumatology in HOUR Magazine Detroit. He has been in private practice for over 30 years.

Matthew Aman NP

Matthew is an experienced and passionate nurse practitioner. He received his bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in 2012. After graduation he worked as a registered nurse on the Stepdown unit at Ascension Macomb-Oakland hospital, Madison Heights Campus. Over the next 7 years he would serve the unit as an assistant clinical leader as well as house supervisor. In 2019, he received his Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, where he graduated with Honors from Spring Arbor University. Matthew has since started working in the world of Rheumatology and has developed a passion for this specialty. He is certified through the American Academy of Nurse practitioners and is a member of the Michigan Rheumatism Society.
